2nd Edition of the MANZ Handbook “Liability of Senior Employees and Managing Directors”

The MANZ handbook Haftung von leitenden Angestellten und Geschäftsführern (“Liability of Senior Employees and Managing Directors”) has been published in its 2nd edition. The work provides a practice-oriented overview of the personal liability of executives in civil, corporate, and employment law contexts, as well as in the areas of insolvency law, criminal law, data protection law, tax law, and social security law.

Our partners Hans Georg Laimer and Lukas Wieser again contributed the employment law chapter as part of the distinguished team of authors. Their chapter addresses in particular the employment law consequences in cases of liability, the applicability of the Employee Liability Act (DHG), and provides valuable guidance on liability-reducing contract design.
